You are cordially invited to the Candlewick Carol Service & Annual Breakfast on Friday 5th December 2025

The Carol Service takes place in the fine Christopher Wren church of St Mary Abchurch in our own Ward of Candlewick.  We much look forward to welcoming you and your guests to enjoy a traditional service of Readings and the first Carols of the Christmas Season led by Choir of St Mary.

The sumptuous feast, which we call ‘The Breakfast’ will be held in the magnificent Old Library of the Guildhall, evoking the spirit of Christmas.  Lunch will be preceded by a drinks Reception in the Print Room where our President, Chairman and Civic Team extend Christmas greetings to members and guests.

Please join us at this most popular and enjoyable event and bring your family and friends.  As is traditional, the Breakfast will be followed by some of our ancient and enjoyable traditions alongside excellent musical entertainment. 

The timetable for the day is as follows:

11.00 am – Carol Service at St Mary Abchurch
12.15 pm – Reception at Guildhall
1.00 pm – Lunch at Guildhall

3.00 pm – Carriages

The price per person is £129  (only a £1 increase on last year!) inclusive of reception drinks, breakfast, wines, coffee and VAT.
