A special visit to Mansion House & Silver Vault on Monday, 20 July 2026.

This exclusive event for members of the Candlewick Ward Club offers a rare opportunity to visit the Mansion House, the official residence of the Lord Mayors of London. During our visit, members will enjoy a guided tour of the State Rooms and have the opportunity to view the renowned Mansion House Silver Vault, home to one of the finest collections of civic plate and ceremonial silver in the country.

Steeped in history and tradition, Mansion House has stood at the heart of the City since the eighteenth century and remains one of London’s most important civic buildings. The Silver Vault gives a fascinating insight into the City’s rich heritage, craftsmanship and ceremonial life.

Please join us for what promises to be a most enjoyable and informative occasion in one of the City’s most magnificent and historic settings.

The timetable for the day is as follows:

11.45 am – Tour

1.00 pm – Lunch at our Candlewick 'local', Harry’s Bar (optional)

The cost for the tour is £10 with lunch on a pay-as-you-go basis.
